Intercom Online has now decided to reach out to its clients more directly. As part of this strategy, IO will be participating in Gitex Trade Show in Dubai between October 17 and 21 this year. We will be participating in coming year trade shows which will be held in Pune, UK and Germany. IO plans to provide more value-added services to its clients through better interactions during these shows.

Intercom has finally been able to implement the desktop exercise sessions for all its employees to prevent health hazards caused due to sedentary work life. We have started updating our notice board with desktop exercises. Every week, the employees get to know desktop exercises and it is ensured that they follow them religiously.

The India Soft 2010 Meet has brought some very tangible results in our kitty. AnyLinuxWork Team successfully negotiated with some participants from Europe and Central America. ALW team was focusing on – Open source software development especially in PHP and ROR;
Joint venture or collaboration with foreign product development and software companies; And Strategic partners/investors looking to work with
mid-sized tier II city-based Indian IT Companies. European and American delegates expressed their desire to have a business relationship with us. Ever since there have been meetings, follow-ups and online demos. And the next round would be the agreement signing and client visits. It was an event where AnyLinuxWork could get business and more than that could establish a brand for open source technologies. Other Indian software exhibitor companies also shared their process and strategies with the team, and recognized the focus of ALW in open source technologies.

IO has incorporated a new policy of ‘Always on time’. The most punctual person during the month will get a gift from the CEO. This is an initiative to extend a gesture of appreciation for employees. In addition, this is yet another way of re-enforcing discipline at IO.

Continuing with its trend of initiatives, IO and AnyLinuxWork.com have taken yet another pioneering stand in a time-bound and time-driven IT industry. Using its valuable experience of over 10 years, IO has initiated a norm that would hopefully set working trends in future. The thought behind the new concept is to balance personal and professional facets, so as to experience an enriching life. IO has reduced its working hours with the chief goal of working better. Work hours begin at 9.30 am and end strictly at 8.00 pm. This is a baby step towards a future leap for setting up an example for our fellow IT companions.

Intercom Online is now a member of Electronic and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC). ESC is India’s largest electronics and IT trade facilitation organization sponsored by the Government of India. ESC has over 2,300 member companies across the length and breadth of the country in several ICT sub sectors including computer software / services and electronic hardware. IO would soon be participating into the upcoming activities of ESC.
