Koolpig Portfolio

Koolpig is a social networking site developed for kids. The site is built around Joomla while for community features, Joomsocial has been used. On Koolpig, a user can login with his Facebook account. We have worked on the template integration. We have created component for question and answer where the user can ask and answer the questions. The user can also share essay and articles. We have created point system for every activity. With each of his activities, the user earns some points, which are then saved, in his piggy bank. The user can give ratings to articles and essays. The site provides the facility to upload videos and images. After creating profile, the user can add friends, chat with them, and invite other friends, browse groups, photos, events. The user can send and receive messages too. He/she can show his Twitter update as well on the profile. In addition, the user can create his own blog and can take part in discussions after joining the group.
