The site is related to Defensive Driving Course allowed by Law in the State of Texas. The site is built around Moodle, open-source PHP web application for producing modular internet-based courses. The website requires registration for buying the course. There is a flash video on the website for displaying course content. A timer is used to track and ensure that each video is being watched in full length before proceeding to subsequent videos. There is quiz logic which students/customers need to attempt to test their knowledge. If a student fails the first time, he/she can re-attempt the test for three times. If a student doesn’t pass the course, then course gets disabled and the student is graded as fail. Quiz questions come from the backend pool of questions. The user can pay on the site by cheque or credit card. In My Account section, the user is able to view bulletins, progress and status of course. The user can also view certification due date, course options like audio and video. Students get reminders of remaining days for completing the course. The course gets paused if the user fails the personal validation questions. The admin can manage accounts, payment, shipping, contents, courses, quizzes, videos.
