Description
As the name suggests, Virtual Shopping Mall is an online shopping cart with Flash and osCommerce integration. This is a virtual shopping zone where shops can be customized while the users get the feeling of shopping from the various floors and shops in a mall. This flash site showcases the physical design of the mall with different categories of products/shops on each floor. The users can simply click and go to any floor or shop that they want and start shopping from there.
Key Feature
- Landlords can create floor in the management panel. Through their log-in, they may add or delete a floor.
- There is a notice box located on each floor for advertisement or information. Landlords can edit the notice box content with text, graphic or animation.
- Landlords can create tenant account in the management panel. They may also view and edit tenant and shopper information as well as transaction information.
- There is an information counter to get shops directory (name and location, shop number). One can search through any product keyword to find out if it is available from a list of shops.
- Tenants/shop owners can take on rent or buy a shop on the site. They can build shop through their account using log-in ID, upload shop logo and put in shop name in the management panel. They have options of selecting shop template for shop layout, uploading products’ pictures and description, amending uploaded products and having a vending machine for virtual currency.
- Shoppers have to be registered members to buy goods. There is a shopper log-in available for shoppers who can register a member account in a web form. Through their account, shoppers can buy token through credit card or can add token value through pre-pay card.
- Shoppers have the option of paying by credit card or they may pay on delivery. In case of payment on delivery, the tenant can input instruction in the Tenant Account profile/pay on delivery text. Another option open to the shopper is to pay through vending machine.
- Shoppers can view all the information about money transaction through weekly, monthly and yearly reports in the profile.
