The site meant to cater to people interested in Yoga and wish to attend, schedule or manage Yoga classes/lectures. The online buying feature on this site enables the users to buy CDs and DVDs on Yoga classes. As per the requirement of the client, we created the site around Yogacharya Shri BKS Iyengar, who is the driving force and the inspiration of the organization. (Yogacharya means Yoga maestro). Each feature of the site revolves around the Yoga Guru that adds to the selling proposition of the site. The site is developed in PHP/MySQL with content management systems (CMS) where admin manages all the contents of the site from backend. Admin can also add information about the forthcoming Yoga classes.

  • The most important feature of the site is the Availability Calendar that keeps the users informed about various available classes with venue, dates and time for the user to choose from.
  • The site has lessons of about 54 renowned teachers from around the world.
  • The user can also make arrangements for his trip through Travel Planning section of the site.
  • There are video messages of Guru Shri BKS Iyengar himself.
  • The schedules of Yoga sessions available on weekly and monthly basis on the site.
