The site under development is meant as an online platform for art lovers to buy/sell art and craft design products. The site is built around Joomla 1.5 with Virtuemart customization and good-quality flash presentation with PHP 5.2 language and My SQL 5.0 database. The site is Browser compatible with IE 7 and above, Firefox 3 and above, Google Chrome, Safari.

We have done template integration with flash slide show on home page with snaps of the art work being changed constantly and flash integration. Artist, Buyer or Wholesaler buyer can register and login.

Artists can use Yohjo to upload, share and sell arts and crafts online. After registration, they will be able to use the site to display and sell their artwork. There is a range of software resources contained on the site to assist artist with the set-up and management of online galleries. Artists can create their art gallery and set the prices of their artwork.  After selling the artwork, artists can send withdrawal request to admin for releasing Escrow.

Artist can upload pictures, select categories, insert his biography, manage his artwork and news, and upload document. Artist can buy voucher, manage his art gallery, contact buyer and send private messages. Escrow service is provided for payment deposit.

There is a customer buyer account setting where wholesaler and buyer can fill their details. They also can check the status of their orders and sales. Buyer can post rating and reviews for the artwork. There is a voucher coupon available for buyer so that he can gift anyone for purchasing items from Yohjo.

E-Commerce Set-up and Virtuemart functionality are provided for both buyer and seller. Virtuemart is used for the shopping cart functionality. There will be functionality for Multiple Currencies (one can allow Customers to change the Currency and buy using an alternative Currency).

Basically it is a B2C network with Escrow payment system. The Escrow service allows the user to have an agreement (for money) delivered to a third party or put in trust by one party to a contract to be returned after fulfillment. The best part of this payment system is that buyer’s money doesn’t get debited until he sees the product and approves it. There will be a Payment gateway configuration via Paypal. The integration of the Amazon stores in the site is managed by the admin. The design of the store has to be kept similar to the site’s look and feel.

Art sellers have the facilities below:

• Artist can write about his own description and choose category related to his work.
